Managed to catch this exhibition in the MOMA in NY last month.

We were all quite taken with Marina Abramovich and her approach to 'her art'. Alongside the main exhibit was a retrospective of her work. Seems for anyone unaware of who she is that all of the work she has done features her, either photographically or filmically, and tends to have her pushing boundaries - big time.

Whether it is pain threshold, nudity or sanity boudaries as a spectator these exhibits are weirdly compelling.

Not exactly what you expect to see on an afternoon at the art gallery though ;)

Definitely recommend it if it comes to a gallery near you.

hungry...?

Take a look at my new favourite brand. I came across them when Niki a friend of mine sent me the details (she knows I love to eat fresh fruit and 'birdfood' as Adrian and Bri call it).

Anyway, you go to the site www.graze.com and you select what type of lunch you want, so could be protein rich if you are training, or a calorie controlled one if you are trying to lose weight or you can just go for nutritionally balanced, there are loads of options. Once you have chosen the type then you go through a bit which works out what type of food you like, and then you're all set to book your lunch. They make up a lunch box of fresh fruit, olives, nuts, chocolate, whatever and it arrives by first class post on the days you have requested.

It's great, every time a total surprise lunch that someone else has handpicked from things they know you like.

The reason I wanted to blog it here though is that the packaging is beautiful. The whole experience with them in my eyes is bang on with the marketing, their approach, brand personality, packaging design, web, all of it.

Give it a shot and I look forward to hearing how you get on. I even managed to get Adrian hooked for a while. Brian I think will be a bit harder to crack, however, he is happy to take part when they send organic chocolate smarties.

The only thing I think I would recommend they add is a hot bacon roll for hangover days button, that would really complete the service!

Anyone wanting to try a box and get their first box for £1, feel free to use this code 6V52N6F.

Happy grazing ;)

The team at Material who have all been working round the clock on Tennents behalf kindly added us to their guest list, so the only thing for it was to get the wellies on and head up.

It was an ace day, and having the luxury of clean toilets, no bar queues and great food made the music even better.

Hope you're all catching some zzzz's now Material, thanks again.

Facebook forever?

Facebook forever?

This is my friend's Facebook picture. It cracks me up, such a simple idea but very very funny.

I wanted to post it as she is considering like many people removing herself from Facebook. i just couldn't see this shot die so here it is in homage to the fun that Facebook was.
Not so long ago Facebook was the hottest thing going, everyone was talking about it, checking it, posting on it, spying on it. It seems now not only has the excitement dissipated and the novelty worn off but former advocates have quickly become irritated with it.

Smart brands won't want to associate themselves with a site which is losing popularity. Are all social network marketing sites this short lived? Is it all just a passing trend? Or maybe there is still a strong future for social network marketing. Sites that will stand the test of time.

Who knows what the future of the online social life holds, not me for sure. (Perhaps Mr Coulter will tell us.)

For now thanks to Rachael for the pic and hope it made you smirk.
