Click on image to zoom inWander down Dalmeny Street off Leith Walk and you’ll spot an imposing building with a big blue flag fluttering over the entrance. Closer inspection reveals it to be an old military building- a drill hall in fact. And now it is home to Out of the blue a multi-arts venue that provides space for a range of arts activities including exhibitions, classes, rehearsals, private views, meetings, performances, markets and festivals. It also has 52 studios that house a fantastic array of creative types. Some of whom we’ve worked with but had no idea were based right here. The venue is perfect for meetings. Enter the big light filled hall and plonk yourself down at a table or on a sofa, whilst you peruse the menu made up of fresh, organic, free-range, fair trade ingredients all sourced locally. (It’s Tamsin’s dream food destination.)
Anyway if we’re meeting you in the near future don’t be surprised if we suggest Out of the blue as the venue. We’d also recommend the home made chocolate and beetroot cake.
