A gorilla playing drums, to sell chocolate. I often wonder how and where ideas come from. Especially fantastic, left of field ideas like this one. Then I bought my daughter The Mighty Boosh boxed set for Christmas and there in episode five of series two (2005) I watched Bollo the Gorilla in the band, playing drums. Now I have no idea if this was the germ of an idea that became the Cadbury's script. But what I thought was really nice was that, following the airing of the ad, The Mighty Boosh produced their own video which they put up on their facebook page. The video shows Bollo turning up for an audition for the Dairy Milk commercial. Take a look, it's nice.

And not even a hint of " Hang on a minute, a gorilla that plays drums, that sounds familiar....."
