This is my friend's Facebook picture. It cracks me up, such a simple idea but very very funny.

I wanted to post it as she is considering like many people removing herself from Facebook. i just couldn't see this shot die so here it is in homage to the fun that Facebook was.
Not so long ago Facebook was the hottest thing going, everyone was talking about it, checking it, posting on it, spying on it. It seems now not only has the excitement dissipated and the novelty worn off but former advocates have quickly become irritated with it.

Smart brands won't want to associate themselves with a site which is losing popularity. Are all social network marketing sites this short lived? Is it all just a passing trend? Or maybe there is still a strong future for social network marketing. Sites that will stand the test of time.

Who knows what the future of the online social life holds, not me for sure. (Perhaps Mr Coulter will tell us.)
