Right, quick film recommendation. I watched 'Chumscrubbers' at the weekend. It's out on DVD and I hadn't heard anything about it but the critics are hailing it "best cult movie since Donnie Darko".
Its good. It's written and Directed by Arie Posen (?). Set in California in the suburbs it's dark, definitely satirical and good enough to make you laugh (and cringe). It cleverly ridicules the vacuous lives of the average suburbian adult through the eyes of the teenagers (who haven't yet been tainted by society).
It's also got some really cool little animation pieces and a great name.
Worth a look.
