Click on image to zoom inOur local hobby shop across the road has had a dead horse lying in the window for over a week now. It’s not decomposing yet but an inquisitive lamb is maybe getting a bit too close for comfort. Not sure if the prostrate moped rider was involved in the incident or just careered off the road in surprise. I’ll give it a week before I call the RSPCA.

Click on image to zoom inProbably my favourite ambient idea this year so far is for Ravensburger Jigsaws using demolished building rubble as jigsaw parts complete with the box in the background. Although I bet the locals will be a bit miffed when they discover a brand new IKEA box warehouse springing up from the debris instead of the promised fairy tale Bavarian castle. Plans to launch a new passenger airline jigsaw collection campaign near crash sites have been shelved for the meantime.

Click on image to zoom inHere’s one for all you SITC fans out there. Where do you take the lady who has everything for some retail therapy? Well, you can never have enough shoes/wine/or both can you? Thank goodness I left my credit card in the safety deposit box back at the hotel. Apparently they’re branching out into minature pet dogs next. Spotted on holiday in Palma.

Click on image to zoom inGreat story in The Scotsman a while back. Auction house Lyon & Turnbull were left red faced after a prankster added a tin of beans to the photograph of a painting in its sale catalogue. It has now launched an investigation with the printers to establish how the beans found their way into the glossy booklet. Arts specialist, Elena Ratcheva was quoted as saying ”It might seem quite an amusing story, but it was not funny for us. We have got rid of a lot of copies with the printer’s mistake, but quite a few were sent out.”
